The place still looked and smell new when I was there. It was quite bussy where all the tables were full, so we sat at the bar. I think they have 30 permanent beers on tab, and 10 that change every months for their specials. Like for December, the 10 specials will be Xmas beers. All beer are specials, from small breweries, the ones you don’t find elsewhere. They also have the Cantillon on tab. The staff is really nice and really helpfull, great to talk to, and they know about the beers. Definitly will go back to try the rest of the tabs, and December to try all those great Xmas brews.

Bound to become a must-visit for all traveling beer geeks. The second Moeder Lambic offers a more central location and greater emphasis on interesting draft beer from small Belgian brewers. Of the 46 taps, six are old-school handpumps meant for real cask lambic. On the first official opening day the tap list was an all-star lineup for cutting-edge Belgian craft beer. on the pumps were lambic and kriek from Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen plus lambic from De Cam. one of the pressure taps also Cantillon Gueuze. Multiple offerings from Senne, de Ranke, Ellezelloise/Géants, Jandrain-Jandrenouille, Contreras, Slaghmuylder and more. Plus a well-chosen selection of large bottles. Coffee, tea, wine, local cheese and sausage. Lighting and decor are modern, juxtaposed with lots of exposed brick. Nice long bar. Bonus: Front section is theoretically non-smoking. Short walk from Poechenelleklder and Mannekin Pis.
