| Theis (80), , Denmark | | April 14, 2008 OK cafe style bresserie - wooden interior. Lounge music. Friendly service. OK food. Beers: De Dolle, Hanssens, Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen and all the sweet yeasty stuff. We gos Dulle Teve & Stille Nacht. | | Fin (97), Merton, England | | December 10, 2007 Went here on 05-12-07. This is a quite tidy open, light cafe bar that appears to be trying to attract the younger trendier crowd as well as the serious drinkers. Has a pretty decent beer list I didn’t count but would suggest 100+ easily and with reasonable selection of some hard to gets and Lambics etc. Service ok if just a bit slow, girl who served pleasant but I got the impression she was more concerned with her checking out her appearance as she passed one of the many windows in this place. Still I liked it and it is close enough to the Trappistenhuis to combine the two whilst in this area of town, only 5-10 min walk from the centre and easy to find. | | JK (118), Richfield, Minnesota | | March 17, 2007 I didn’t go in, but the food menu was very expensive (around 20-25 Euro/meal) and the beer list not displayed outside. I realize this is not an ideal review but I thought this information would be more valuable than no reviews at all. Through the window I could see a quiet and clean restaurant at lunch time. |
