Empty of customers, limited selection and as non ambient as one can ever think of. One beer and we were off.

Excellent example of why bars should not allow smoking when they do not have top rate extractors. Also why a big range of beers does not necessarily equal a classy range. And why cafes need owners who lead by edxample and get out and chat with customers.

Visited here on 6th December. Unfortunately the place was a bit dead, no one seems to have discovered it yet. The bottled beer list pretty good and with an additional dozen or more on tap to choose from there is probably enough to keep even the most difficult to please happy. Its a largish one roomed cellar bar with the bar taking up pretty much the entire width of the opposite wall as you enter, plenty of seating, friendly bar man just needs some customers.
