I was in Laguna for a day with a buddy and we just stumbled on this place and decided to have lunch. The ambience was pretty cool, being very near the beach. the beers were decent. pretty standard. i had their white, and red ales i believe. Nothing over the top. I remember the service wasnt great but the food was pretty damn good. It was worth the trip in for lunch.

Walked up on an early evening and was seated on the patio immediately and brought an average to good Pale Ale and my friend had the Hefeweizen which I tasted and thought was really good. Ordered one of their pizzas and a pasta dish, both done very well. Prices on the higher end for a brew pub, but nothing too crazy. Service was average. Would go back again and try some other beers.

This place was pretty impressive, with better than average beers. They produce a fairly standard brewpub range but make them a little better than most. The bartender told me the trouble they have with extreme beers is rotation especially since the city does’t allow them to sell growlers. Great knowledge from the bartender and the regulars. Parking is tough although there is a small parking lot right behind it.

If your in the area and want to rate go ahead and stop by. If you want to enjoy a really nice brew, forget it. The view from the balcony is very nice, the food is hit and miss, and the beer blows.
