Small dark pub reminds ma a lot of a neighborhood dive bar. The service was fair but you usually get good service when you sit at the bar. Not a bad little place tucked away on a picture postcard street in the thriving metropolis of Pleasanton California. Loads of worldwide bottles line the walls, unfortunately they have only 10-15 beers (non macro swill) at any one time. They have half dozen BOP offerings, the IPA and Porter weren’t bad. Very good food. Staff needs to boost their beer IQ a bit. Interesting mix of locals, tourists and visiting "RUB’s" (Rich, Urban Bikers). Worth a lunch stop if you’re in town. |
