5 reviews for Corti Brothers
pbrick (4), Roseville, California does not count - explanation | | June 9, 2009 All I know is if you don’t like your trip to Corti Bros there’s something strangely off. Great beer selection featuring a lot of local brewed beers, as well as hard to find imports of top quality. Ciders, sakes and more - everything you want in a grocery store - or bottle shop. | | Gypsy19 (11), California | | March 29, 2009 [ Updated December 17, 2009 ] The selection here was pretty decent. They probably had around 100 or so beers, most of which were higher-tier. They don’t have nearly the section as Beverages & More!, but the beers they do have easily have a higher average ratebeer score. They also have some interesting-looking sakes as well. The food here is all high-quality stuff, and expensive; This is where rich folks shop for groceries in Sacramento. It’s kind of like a Trader Joe’s but more old-school and not corporate. Probably has about 40 or 50 beers that I’ve never seen at Beverages & More!. | | DTM (13), Winters, California | | February 21, 2008 The best quality of Corti Brothers is the fact the you can buy singles of many of the beers. It’s an older gorcery store comparable to that of Trader Joe’s. Of course I went for the build your own six pack and left a happy man. | | DYCSoccer17 (187), Davis, California | | September 30, 2007 This place has a decent selection. Not as good as Bevmo, but they do have some oddball beers that I haven’t really seen other places. The main benefit of this place is they allow singles. Probably the only place in the area that has a good selection that allows singles. I’d much rather this than a place like Bevmo which has a better selection but no singles. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood of Hoppy Brewing. The register clerk was amazingly nice and appreciative when I told her that they charged me for a 6 pack rather than a single. | | bhensonb (291), Woodland, California | | September 6, 2007 It’s an upper crust grocery with a wall of beer that makes Whole Food’s anemic. They have empty 6 packs for your convenience in breaking full ones. I suspect there are well over 100 beers - but who had time to count. Good place to find that odd Jack Russell brew. What a great opportunity to see so many all at once. I think the selection comes close to Sonoma Wine Exchange. They had Old Engine Oil - could be the first time for that in Sacramento. |
