| Lt_Dan | Great beer, above average pub grub, didn’t get the friendliest vibe from the server, and feels very surreal in the middle of a Korean strip mall. Very cool ambiance inside, with comfortable old chairs. This would be my recommendation for anyone going on a SD beer trip.

DA | Interesting little place on the corner of a strip mall. We got there early which worked out really well, cause at about lunch there was a line out the door to order. The food was good, nice greased up burger to settle the stomach. The beer selection was good, a nice variety of local beers. They also make their beer-cheese with Pliny.

mgumby10 | Great little beer bar. Visited here for RBSG 2008. Had a bunch of great beers on tap here along with a very tasty burger. Service was very good, and it was pretty easy to go to the bar to get a brew. Had indoor as well as patio seating. Great beer atmosphere. Had a good time here.

| kosko20 | Absolutely loved this place, Alesmith Speedway Stout, then Rochfort Trappisties 10, then Pliny the Elder or Younger...by this time I was drunk, THEN Westveltern abt 12....what a selection. Great food too.

| enginaaron | i love O’Brien’s! Great place to read, work on the computer, talk with friends, or just hang out! Oh, can’t forget the incredible beer! Where else can you find Port Brewing, Dogfish Head, Bear Republic, Alpine, Russian River, AleSmith, Stone, and Lightning on tap all at the same time! And in a small, intimate setting. It’s a great place to hang out and the people are very friendly too. Love it!

| paytoplay | Had one of the best burgers of my life at O’Briens. Celebrated a birthday there with non beer people and everyone loved the place. That says a lot. Always a solid list of beers on tap with Pliny the Elder a staple, and the Younger if you are lucky in Feb-Mar months. It’s more about the bottles here. And the chairs. All to comfortable. A good place to take advantage of the other patrons knowledge of beer. If you want to learn about beer, real bear, this is the place.

| mmtmatrix | Felt like I was back in my old San Bernardino/LA neighborhood as I rolled up with my buddy that I conned into going after a AS release. Nice place, decent staff. Very nice tap line up and a super impressive bottle list, got to have a bottle of Isabelle (yeh i know, hate me), when else will that chance come up agian? Check it out for sure.

AmEricanbrew | On the small side, with indoor and patio seating. Nice, busy beer geek bar ambiance. Great tap and bottle selection. Funky strip mall location amongst half a dozen or so Asian food places. Parking is tough.

cazort | This is a small, usually crowded pub in a suburban strip mall on Convoy, where all the Asian stores and restaurants are. There’s a great selection of beer on tap. The food is affordable and good...unusually good for bar food. There’s an outdoor patio, but it isn’t much because it just looks out on the parking lot. This would be an outstanding pub, if it weren’t for the dismal suburban setting. The suburban setting really ruins the atmosphere...this is the sort of place that really needs to be situated in either an urban neighborhood, or a small town or rural setting. Besides that one big complaint though, this place wins!

DubC5000 | Love the atmosphere! Excellent choice of awesome beer and food. It can get a bit crowded though. Typical pub fare but it tastes amazing. However, its right next to a great yogurt creamery and a block down the street from a karaoke bar so you can continue the fun elsewhere if you want. It’s also a little loud at times, but other than that its a great place.
