How people give this place a good rating for ambiance is beyond me. Almost empty on a June early Sunday evening (9pm), you cannot sit anywhere without having 5 ugly TV screens in your face. Otherwise, we’re talking of an average pizza joint in an undesirable shopping mall area (but close enough to a Trolley stop). The beers were okay, if quite below my memories of 2005 GABF, but then again, Bagby used to be the brewer then. Service seemed pretty much uninterested, awaiting the end of their shift most likely. Not recommended.

Decent selection of there own brews and other local micros. Food and service good, and prices reasonable.

(Visited 04/2008): Stumbled across the Mission Valley location of Oggi’s as I was in the same shopping plaza to stop at the Sprint store. Decided not to pass up an opportunity to visit. This location is off the Friars Rd exit of the 805. Plenty of parking in the large strip mall lot, although the are does get busy during the lunch hour. The interior is pretty much a sports bar atmosphere. The space is open with TVs all around. The bar is on the left side with the restaurant seating taking up the rest. There is a small patio as well. Oggi’s has 10 taps plus a cask beer. The beers run the gamut from Light to Oatmeal Stout with a couple interesting brews mixed in like a Double IPA and Steam Beer. Overall the beers were about average. Service here was pretty good on a weekday lunch hour. The bartender was quick in serving beer and bringing the food and appeared pretty knowledgeable about their beers. I had a salad at the bar for lunch and it was pretty good. I have had the pizza at a different location and you cannot go wrong with that. Overall I would not make it a point to stop at Oggi’s in San Diego with all the other world class brewpubs nearby but it is worth a visit if you find yourself passing one like I did

If it’s before 10pm and you’re not open to serve me dinner and a beer, you FAIL. You’re a brewpub, not a bank. Have enough respect for your customers to be open until a decent hour or convert to a production brewery.

Probably the best one in San Diego. Good pizza, good regulars beers on tap. They have 3-4 seasonals that rotate every month, with a strong IIPA as one of them. Most of the wait staff is good, though there is one guy that is awful.

Pretty much just like any other Oggi’s. Some good specialty/seasonal beers on tap/cask. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

This is an average brewpub. The pizza is pretty decent, but not the best. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu. This location does have it’s own brewery, but they didn’t have anything out of the ordinary on tap the couple of times I visited. I would recommend visiting this location only if you can’t get up to the Vista location.

Average overall, food, beer, ambiance and service are all regular. Pizza is much better at Fillipis or Pizza Port and the beer is better at Obriens or Liars Club. But its ok too go with family or friends to watch a game. Mainly sports bar attitude, No special brews on tap, just the regular line up, wich was ok.

Good place to go and grab a pizza and some beer. I went on a wednesday, when they offered beer discounts. Some really good stuff on tap. The had the standard stuff, plus a few extras. Good food too. A little loud and crowded, but not bad.

Nice looking place in a mediocre looking mall area. Decent patio but a but dull on the inside. Good pizza and some good beers. The waitress completely hosed me while I was there and told me 2 or 3 different things that I was drinking and it turned out that I missed a key rating while I was here because I trusted her. I know never to go out on a limb for these bimbos!
