Good selection. Knowledgeable owners/staff. The space is very tight (could be considered cozy to someone not as large as I am). Exceedingly expensive.

Went a few weeks ago. Nice place, with taps (they serve just like a bar does) and bottles. The selection isn’t huge, but almost everything there is good to great.

Great beer store. Nice to find a place that offers bottle and taps. Not a huge selection, but a good one. Many of the beers are refrigerated, but many are not. The staff was friendly, but the place was kind of overrun when I was there, so their help was mostly limited to ringing up purchases.

Very cool place. Small but a great selection in bottles and 4 taps. I’ve never see such a selection of obscure and rare beers in one place. Craig was really cool and helpful.

Great place. Stopped in while wife was shopping! Beer selection was awesome, and tap selection was great as well. Deschutes XX Black Porter on tap and in bottles. Great patrons and staff. Staff helped me out with some shipping materials and gave some great recomendations. This is a top notch destination for anyone in the Bay area.

Beth is great. she was the only one there on a friday afternoon because her help was running late. she was very busy yet very helpful all things considered. pretty good selection they did not have pliny on tap or any alesmith, but still a good selection. Beth will help you find what you want even if they dont have it. If you are in the SF area definitly stop by this place.

What an awesome place. The best beer store in the bay area, with lot’s of rarities (for me a San Diego resident). Also great beers on tap (Pliny Younger and a great barleywine, Parabola, etc.)

Great selection, and the taps are always special, The two who run the place are very cordial, and the place overall is very worthy of your visit. Lil packed later on in the evenings and on weekends, (place holds about 10 people), but if you can visit early on a Tuesday, you’ll really enjoy yourself. Kinda out of the way though.

April 2008 What a diamond of a discovery!! Thanks to the tip of Chris and Meredith at thebeergeek.com, whom we visited with. Conveniently, we stayed right around the corner ... so if we had nowhere else to go or if I’d lived in the area, I’d have grown roots. Fronting as a small retail outfit with a impressive West-coast-leaning lineup, this turns out to be an uber-friendly cafe, where you can crack open your lucky finds and enjoy a gourmet cheese plate with the friendly owners and even friendlier clientele. They also happen to have ~5 quality taps. I’m stealing their business plan and doing this in some other city. Awesome!
