I swear I rated this before. Hmmm. Great atmosphere, service is friendly. Tap list is mostly imports but decent. Food is excellent, not cheap but reasonable. Hmm, the fact that I have not been back recently enough to have more to say than anything else. Rather nice, but theres other places I would go in Toronto first.

Popped in this afternoon after a job interview, had a couple of pints and a chat with the barstaff, nice spot, very cosy, I did not see upstairs, has a good selection on tap and bottle (no Canadian brews) and seems to be a well run place. The food looked good too. Nice and shows a lot of promise. Mondays is generally a food and beer pairing evening, you should call in advance.

I’ll concur with Sammy, that this bar shows a lot of promise. I’ve eaten there a couple of times, and been impressed with the quality. The curry, in particular was outstanding, and foodwise, this joint is a cut above regular pub fair. The beer selection is geared towards the European scene, and word is they are expanding their bottle selection to bring in a number of Het Anker beers. The atmosphere is quite nice, and has a slightly upmarket feel to it, which isn’t surprising considering the neighbourhood.

A modestly sized bar near Summerhill LCBO. ANother small one upstairs. Trying to join the beer scene in Toronto and promising. Everything on tap is European, with a Belgium, and a few UK and Germany available, Two cask engines. Great promise.
