Made a special trip over to Aurora to visit. Unfortunately the homebrew shop was closed but we got to experience the very small, very unlikely, really good brewpub in the strip mall. Steve certainly knows his beers - there were eight on tap with two of the medal-winners not available when I was there. Defintely worth seeking out.

I had an hour to kill before a happy hour meeting and typed in brew to the GPS. This place popped up, so I gave it a try. Was surprised to find a homebrew shop when I followed the directions, but wait, there is a bar in back! There bar has maybe 8-10 spots at the bar and 3 or 4 other tables in the place. It was 3:30 in the afternoon, but there were already 12-14 people there enjoying pints. The beer is really good (had IPA and ESB - there were probably 7 more I didn’t have time for), and the customers really know their beer. This is a nice hidden gem, but is pretty far out of the way of other Denver beer spots. If you are anywhere near here, you should give it a try.

Out of the way kind of brewery in a shopping center attached to a homebrew shop, Brew Hut. The brewer was generous and knowledgeable. Smallish place with a popcorn machine in the back for patrons. Had 9 brews on tap. Has kegs and growlers to go as well as souvenir items. I was pleased to see him use proper glassware for the tripel.

Definitely a weirder place. Small room with a bar located in a strip mall (I passed this a 1/2 dozen times during the week and never would have guessed it was here). Very friendly workers and clientel. 10 beers on tap including a Tripel, RIS and Saison (nice selection).

This is a tasting room of sorts, in the same place the beer itself is brewed. Small room but it is neat. Not supposed to be a pub, just a place to go to get the freshest of the Dry Dock brews. The Kevin’s are very nice and like to chat about what they are working on next etc... The beer is great and the company is too.
This is my new favorite place to get a good beer after work. Only some popcorn available to soak up the suds but you can bring some pretzels or what not in. Special event make way for some catering though and they open up into the home brewing area for more leg room. One video game if you get the itch for that.

stopped in here during my job hunt. had the saidon, and then settled into a nice vanilla porter. didn’t rate them because i was having too much of a good time just shooting the shit with a guy at the bar and one of the brewers. they are both named Kevin so they are obviously good folks. i liked the place, i’ll be back more than once. i’ve found myself heading here more and more. it is honestly becoming my first choice when i want to relax with a beer away from home. it’s gone from a place with maybe one or 2 folks in it at night to a friendly mostly full house every time i am there regardless of the night. always someone there to shoot the shit with, and have a good hassle free time. even the candidate for worst painting since velvet elvis is starting to look good.
