| sroberts (26), Columbia, Missouri | | September 7, 2009 Decent service, restaurant atmosphere, and great beer selection. | | PaulUnwin (15), Pinellas Park, | | September 1, 2009 Good place to spend an evening, plenty of choices. Very noisy the night we went, due to the fact that it seemed more of a Restaurant atmosphere than a brewery. Nothing wrong with that, except it was sometimes difficult getting a beer. Lots of people there, so they seem to be doing the right thing!! | | jbye4334 (44), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | June 20, 2009 Nice pub style atmosphere, with a large patio outside. Decent service. Good prices. Everything on tap was stuff that I could get locally, other than an oak-aged Mojo on nitro. Decent location, although it would be nice if it was closer to downtown. | beerwhore69 (3), Northglenn, Colorado does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 If you go to Boulder, Colorado this is a must. In the summer they get local artist playing great music for you to sip down some of the best beers in town. For the winter, Killer Penguin.....enough said. | | alagnak (16), Littleton, Colorado | | June 8, 2009 In a little industrial park conveniently 2 blocks off my long drive to the southern part of Denver. Had the whole work crew here for our weekly happy hour (normally @ Avery, mixing it up). When the weather’s nice (as it was), awesome patio. Great service and decent beer. Nothing in Boulder’s lineup blows me away, but a great place to shoot the work sh*t and have some decent brew and food in the sun for a couple of hours. | | Ungstrup (245), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | August 16, 2008 Industrial area location, a bit out of down-town Boulder. Visited on Friday of GABF at lunch time, which was very busy with lots of locals coming in for lunch and lots of out of towners coming for the tour. The interior was like a modern brewpub. They had 6 beers on draft, that I hadn’t tried before. The service was quite fast even though the place was packed. | | josarah (68), Hinesburg, Vermont | | July 1, 2007 We stopped for a bite and a brew mid-afternoon, just missed the tour. Service was prompt and good, food was typical pub grub and the beer was very good. Hazed and Infused is a must. Worth the visit. | | Dansting (114), Overland Park, Kansas | | June 27, 2007 Took a tour on a Thursday afternoon. We arrived for the 2 PM tour a little early and sat in their really nice beer garden. Before the tour started, they offered us a free pint to take on the tour with us. The tour was very detailed (in a good way) and the woman giving the tour was extremely cool and knowledgable. We even got to talk to the brewer who was the inventor of Hazed and Infused. The tour guide even poured us a pint of the Mojo before it had the final hops added to it, and it was pretty good (although not as good as the regular Mojo). At the end of the tour, we got pitchers of nine beers to try, and since there were only five of us on the tour (two of whom were driving), we had plenty to go around. They had a lot of merchandise for sale, and even had a Double Dry Hopped Hazed and Infused on tap, although they wouldn’t sell it in growlers. If you like Boulder’s hoppy beers, definitely make the trip and go on the tour if you can. It is well worth it. | | Braudog (478), Dayton, Ohio | | April 23, 2006 Visited 4/13/06. I LOVE these guys’ beers, normally. But aside from the faves, I was unimpressed here. The place is in an industrial park, but it was PACKED at the lunch hour we visited. The bartender knew his beers, knew his beer places and kept up with the pace. Worth another trip. | | Ernest (105), Boulder, Colorado | | October 5, 2005 Nice atmosphere, fairly spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a much improved bar area from what they had several years ago. Food is fine (I’ve only had the veggie burrito, and it’s good but not as yummy as Mountain Sun’s). It’s fairly rare that they have anything unique available (i.e., that’s not bottled), and if there is, it’s usually just one. So I don’t visit often, and am not a big fan of their beers in general, but it’s a neat place. A lot of the staff seems to know precious little about the beers, oddly (both from discussions while visiting as well as when I call...seems I always have to work up the food chain a bit to get a definitive answer about things)...but they are usually polite and as helpful as they can be. |
