| acrdz (538), Boulder, Colorado | | August 27, 2008 Decent store. Seems like they have more Belgians than Liquor Mart. Regional bombers galore... prices are a mix, some higher than LM, some lower... La Folie is $19 I think (too high). But they did get in the new Russian River bottles. You might have to ask about what is in the back if you’re looking for something new/rare/ | aplusbreaks (1), , Colorado does not count | | June 28, 2008 Great selection of crafts and imports, especially the bomber selection. | | Ernest (103), Boulder, Colorado | | January 24, 2008 A step above the average liquor store, since they do have several doors of single bottles (including some Belgian 750s beyond the ubiquitous Chimay) and quite a few of six packs and cases. The biggest problem is they really aren’t offering anything in the beer department that you can’t already get at Liquor Mart (for example). I’ve never felt too confident that many of the imports were terribly fresh, but YMMV. Visitors to the city can skip it and just hit Liquor Mart, but if you live in the neighborhood, it’s a fine place to pick up some CO micro sixers. |
