Nice place in downtown Colorado Springs. Nice atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, good prices. 3 of their beers on tap. Only complaint is the set up where you have to order before sitting down.

I love it at Il Vicino, but they stopped brewing beer and have out sourced brewing to Bristol Brewing Company. The pizzas are just great. Bristol does a good job make Il Vicino beers, and the prices are right. The outside dinning is great. Service is fast, but I don’t like pay first before sitting dinner format. It make it hard to order another beer or dessert, but they will hold a tab if asked. I eat at Il Vicino weekly when I am in town. They also have punch card, which gives you a free dish after so many meals.

Il Vicino CO Springs no longer brews their own beer. It’s contract brewed by Bristol Brewing Company a few miles away. The beer was passable and the ambiance nice but the bartender was a jerk, to put it mildly. Only three of their contract brews on tap, plus a selection of Bristol’s regular products. Didn’t try the food, but if you want to sample their beers, you’re better off picking up a six pack now that’s Bristol’s bottling it.

il Vicino makes some of the best beers in the country at a couple different brewery locations and takes them to their handful of restaurants. The original in Albuquerque was where my wife and I went on our first date. You can’t go wrong at any of them ... awesome pizzas!

550 Broadway in Denver: Nice decor, but it was crowded and noisy. I didn’t like the setup, where you order and then sit down and have a waiter ... it caused some confusion when ordering beers (I thought I had to order everything up front). Service was bad, but our server made up for it by giving us some free dinner coupons. Food was pretty good, but not great (although, I’m pretty picky when it comes to pizza/pasta). Blonde and Brown were just OK ( I absolutely love the IPA, but they were out at the time!) ... only having three -- well, two when I was there -- beers on tap is really weak. Oh, they did have a guest beer (Bristol Laughing Lab), too, but still.

No samplers of the Il Vicino brews but still a good number available on tap. Manager was helpful and comped me a brew for the first one taking a little while. Excellent wood fired pizza. A tad noisy at lunch and not very much seating, although there is a patio.
