10 reviews for Trinity Brewpub
| notalush (159), Denver, Colorado | | October 17, 2009 Came here today on my way to see The Garden of the Gods - I was going to give this place a 5 for ambiance, since you can sit on their patio and stare at Pike’s Peak while you drink your beer, but the fact that it’s in a strip mall had to knock it down a peg - aside from this, though, this place is awesome - reminds me a bit of Alchemist in Vermont (with beer of slightly poorer quality, which isn’t a knock, because Alchemist makes terrific beer), except this place has that CO hippie vibe instead of a Vermont hippie vibe - small but creative menu - excellent tap list, with about 6 house-made beers, and a lot of quality craft beer, mostly from CO and Cali (including La Folie on draft for 5 bucks a glass - awesome!) - a few 750s of their experimental sour ales for sale to go, which is always a huge plus - the beers aren’t fantastic, but they seem to be pretty creative - good service, very casual vibe - probably the best brewpub I have been to in Colorado so far - if I didn’t live 70 miles from here, I’d be here every day. | | Headbanger (44), Aurora, Illinois | | September 9, 2009 Was a nice little strip mall brewpub with a nice selection of guest beers. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Decent prices. | | waolsen (60), Littleton, Colorado | | July 30, 2009 I was very impressed with Trinity. Located at the end of a strip mall. Nice patio with views of Pikes Peak. Great decor and vibe inside. Very eco friendly. Unique food offerings. Great service. Great guest tap list. Beers were good, not great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the culture they are trying to build. | | brentfeesh (61), Gadsden, Alabama | | July 9, 2009 This is my first rating of a place since the new scoring system took effect. I was looking to give this place a low B, but had to tweak my numbers to get there. Anyhow, we stopped here after hiking Garden of the Gods and I was fairly thirsty and my wife was getting the beat down from altitude sickness.
I thought the place was OK as far as atmosphere but nothing particularly appealing. Service was solid and plesent. the beers selection on tap was very good. My only complaint was that they were out of several of their own beers I wanted to try. the other tap handles more than made up for it. I was somewhat disappointed with their food though. the Med Plate was boring and the grilled cheese plate my wife ordered sounded great but they used slider buns for the bread...Kind of missed the mark in my opinion. I would certainly go back if I was in the area though. | | Kevin (56), Colorado | | July 1, 2009 can’t put into wordss how nice of a place this is for someone that loves good beer and real food. shockingly good tap selection, and that is not counting their beers. tucked away in a strip mall is a place worth driving out of the way for. it has me figuring out exactly what bus to take where to get there . | | jbye4334 (44), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | April 30, 2009 Long bar with tables inside, and couches in the back. Also chairs outside. Good service most of the time. Excellent selection of house beers and beers from other breweries. Food has been good in the past, and I heard they just revised their menu. Fair prices and most of the staff is knowledgable. | | ratman197 (103), Arvada, Colorado | | March 8, 2009 Long well lit bar with interesting funky decor. Service was fast and excellent. Selection was amazing with 11 house beers(counting 2 casks and 2 beers served on CO2 or Nitrogen, as wellas 25 guest taps and alm ost every beer available in growlers including guest beers. Did’nt try the food I was there to close to breakfast. Beers were decently priced. Definatly one of the best places for beer in Colorado Springs. | | BeerandBlues2 (157), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | October 22, 2008 Colorado Springs has long been needing an establishment such as this, and Jason and Todd have done it. The ambiance is like no other brewery/brew pub I have visited. The food and brews are definitely artisan. Plan to spend a little time here as the atmosphere is slow, and that is on purpose. Spend some time at a high-top table or on a couch, or the patio in warmer weather. | | BDR (54), Roseville, Minnesota | | October 20, 2008 Well worth the trip if you’re in Colorado. Their own beers are very good and the guest selection is the best I’ve ever seen at a brewpub. I think I had five guest sours while I was there. A great ambiance and slow (as advertised) snack food. | scray24 (1), Monument, Colorado does not count - explanation | | October 9, 2008 Great ambience, kind of a coffee shop feel with outstanding and rare beers on tap (including good selection of Colorado micros, some belgians and sours). House beers are excellent as well.
Food is very good but menu is somewhat limited and more geared towards snacking (appetizers and desserts) although the few main dishes they have are very tasty. |
