September 12, 2009 Went here for dinner with some coworkers on my last trip to Denver. Very small on the inside. There is a bar with about 8 or 9 stools and about 10 or so tables. Bartender was also the waiter. Real nice guy. Had maybe 8 taps with a new IPA and a couple of the 471 small batches. Had bombers and six packs for sale to go. Thought the BBQ was really good especially for the prices. You can have 2 meats and a side for lunch for under $6. Not really a great beer destination, but really for some casual cheap eats and a couple decent beers. Would go often if I lived in the area. |

September 7, 2009 The atmosphere was that of a restaurant. The beer selection was diverse and I thoroughly enjoy the quality of beer. Make sure you check out the wall of cans! I was not thoroughly impressed with the food; it was very generic. The prices seemed to be a little high for the quality, mainly on the food. I am sure it would be a great location before or after a Rockies game. |

February 26, 2009 Efficient, tasteful set up in this brewpub. I only had one beer, an as of yet unnamed IPA, but it was pretty good. The BBQ is actually pretty authentic. I enjoyed the meat, though the slaw was weird (not southern). The service was quick and friendly. All the beer is available in bottles to go at a pretty reasonable price. I enjoyed my visit, but I don’t know if it was enough to be leaps and bounds beyond the stiff competition in the local beer scene. |

January 21, 2009 Cozy place with a good atmosphere. Did not eat the BBQ and probably wont due to the fact that I subsist on veggies. But it was a great place to enjoy their beers. The 471 IPA is quality and much more enjoyable on tap. The bartenders are good and attentive. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere while still being in Denver. |

December 18, 2008 Excellent place Yes their beer is limited to the flavor of the month Breckenridge beers But the BBQ makes it all worth it If you like Brecky beers and BBQ you will love this place If you dont like that combo then you will not like this place |

December 15, 2008 [ Updated December 18, 2008 ] We had a fast visit at this place. My first thought was: Big empty place. OK Beers. Friendly staff. House selection and specials. Nice prices.................This is the wrong one, and I can not delete it !!!!! |

October 11, 2008 Nice atmosphere, lot of space, long round bar. The service a bit slow but when the servant arrived he was very friendly and seemed to know his beers. The one I had was good and the rest on tap looked interesting. Unfortunately I did not have time to eat. Will definately come back. Moderate price level. |

June 15, 2008 I didnt dig this place very much. it didn’t seem like a cool micro brewery that really cared about beer I’m not saying they dont care about beer, but the place seemed more like a TGI Fridays than a brewpub. The service was fine in regards to the food, but our server didn’t have anything to say about Breckenridge beer. The selection was as expected for a brewpub, not huge but fine. I had a 471 IPA and a descent fish and chips while there. Overall: I really wish Great Divide had food because I planned on visiting there but ended up here instead because of the food thing. |

October 3, 2006 I think this was my favorite brewpub in Denver. A bit out of the way from downtown on Kalamath Street, this is a good place to go to get away from the crowds Wednesday- Friday during the GABF. Not sure if I would really call it a brewpub since it is technically a restaurant attached to a commercial brewery, but it’s definitely a really cool place. Very relaxed atmosphere, unpretentious yet cool decor, and it has a foosball table! The bbq food was pretty well done, not the best I’ve had but was still pretty tasty. The service was excellent, had a waittress that was happy to answer any beer related questions, and offered free samples of some of them which is pretty rare for a waittress. If I lived in Denver, this would be a place I would go to have a beer and relax. Although not spectacular, the beer was pretty well made. |

April 24, 2006 The place has that old comfortable barroom atmosphere I really like. The service has always been good for me even when they’re busy. The beer selection could be better but this is their production brewery so they don’y really do one off beers. @While I’ve had better BBQ they do a good job. I usually go tuesdays for all you can eat ribs just $10!!!
By the way bitter’s rating is in the wrong place. |
