| BlackDonald (58), North Carolina | | August 3, 2008 This place is great all the way around. If I lived in Ft. Collins and I have thought of moving there many times, this would be my hangout. Incredibly gracious staff and very beer knowledgeable at least at the bar, I always sit at the bar when I come here. The Kriek is a must try. | | skoisirius (10), Seattle, Washington | | July 13, 2008 With New Belgium, Odell, and Fort Collins ALL closed on a Sunday, this is where I wound up...and was incredibly stoked to do so! I ordered a sampler...and was explained that none of the seasonals could be added - BUT...my incredibly nice server brought out all of them for me anyways free of charge! The Kriek was delicious... Didn’t get food, but enjoyed my stay for a while. Decent beer over all, but you really got to hope for the Kriek or the Bruin. Worth a stop! | NewBelgium5 (6), , Pennsylvania does not count | | July 3, 2008 [ Updated July 4, 2008 ] Coopersmiths food is ok, but the beer and the pool keep people coming. Their brew pub beers are all good, in particular try their Chile beer, which infuses Anaheim and serrano chile’s into a light beer. It is a great taste. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to relax and have a couple of unique beers. | PsionSaint (4), Colorado does not count | | June 8, 2008 Stopped in after the Small Batch Festival at O’Dells. Quite a few different beers on tap menu is upper-end bar food. Wife had a great burger and I got a calzone. There’s two sides to the place - one for pool and the restaurant. Service was extremely slow but it wasn’t a deal breaker since we were taking our time anyway. | | shp555 (19), lilburn, Georgia | | March 14, 2008 Stopped here on a whim. This place is pretty damn cool. They had quite a few nice beers on tap including a Kriek and a IIPA which were delicious. They have two sides I stayed on the pool table side. The pool tables were pretty nice and they music was pretty good too (lots of Phish). This is a very cool place to come hangout and just chill. | | BlackForestCO (15), Fort Collins and Black Forest, Colorado | | December 27, 2007 Nice little brewpub located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins, not far from New Belgium Brewery. A good number of beers are available, usually at least 10, with special releases and seasonals. The food selection is somewhat limited, but most of what I have tried is pretty good. Servers are nice and knowledgeable from my experience, and do the best they can even when it is crowded. A nice place that I would recommend trying at least once. | | ratman197 (89), Arvada, Colorado | | September 8, 2007 Well lit pub a bit on the crowded side. Service was good atleast at the bar. The beer selection was decent with about 10 house beers. The food was decent but not exceptional. Overall it’s worth a visit if your in Fort Collins. | | bhensonb (244), Woodland, California | | July 4, 2007 A bit crowded on the weekend. Still, we got right in. The service was great. The food was fine. So were, or was, the beer. Really should have had a designated driver! | | Dansting (114), Overland Park, Kansas | | June 27, 2007 Went on a Friday night. The place was located in a nice part of town, and both sides of the brewpub were packed. It was very nice looking on the inside. We were told it would be a 30-35 wait. Instead, we just sat at the bar, which was fine. They sold samplers in groups of six, and they probably had about 14 beers on tap. However, the beers were just okay, not as good as they were built up to be. I did enjoy the Not Brown. The food was pretty good, however the pizza I ordered was very small, although very tasty. The bartender was pretty busy, but he always made sure we were taken care of. Overall, I was disappointed with this place, but only because of the expectations for the beer, which were still good beers, just nothing awesome. As for the food and atmosphere, it was top notch. Definitely hit for a meal if in Fort Collins. | | CharlesDarwin (81), State College, Pennsylvania | | April 28, 2007 I stopped in breifly, hoping to score a growler of their Oud Bruin, only to discover they don’t put their specialties in growlers. Should have called ahead, but I was poured nice tasting samples anyway. Place was busy and packed. Looked pretty good. | View Page : 1 2 3 4
