4 reviews for Gunnison Brewery
| LaMichael (599), Colorado | | July 8, 2009 Cramped building, low ceilings, overdone wooded interior, felt really uncomfortable and drab on a warm and sunny Colorado summer afternoon. Servers seemed to be college students, uncaring and unaware of anything. Beer quality is horrible, you can pass this one and you won’t miss anything good. | | BeerandBlues2 (157), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | November 2, 2007 [ Updated June 30, 2008 ] Small bar with an area for bands. The food is decent yet they only have 3 house beers to choose from I suspect this is because of space limitations. They did have some nice bottled beer to choose from including 3 years worth of Avery Anniversary, several Stone Vertical Epic’s and Stone Anniversary. They also have at least one guest tap. Ski/hunting/college town. There is some nice local artist’s work hanging on the walls for sale. | | harpus (40), birmingham, Alabama | | October 4, 2006 I found this place while driving around on vacation in Colorado. We were just driving around the town and look over and see Gunnison Brewery. I went in because it was about lunch time to see what they had to eat, the food list was OK but I was suprised by the list of bottles offered. When we cam back for lunch they had 4 self brewed and 1 guest beer on tap. The beers were OK, nothing special but better then i expected in such a small town. If in Gunnison well worth the stop. | | Drew (44), Kent, Ohio | | November 29, 2004 We found this place while on vacation in July, 2004. Look at the back corner of the room - that little closet with a window is their brewing room! They had 3 of their own brews on tap and one guest (New Belgium’s summer beer). They also had about 30 bottled beers to choose from including a good selection of Belgians (Chouffe, Delerium, etc) and many Colorado micros. Food was not bad - the fish and chips were very good. This place is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so you’ve got to give them credit for even being in existence! |
