| notalush (163), Denver, Colorado | | November 27, 2009 Stopped in for lunch today - probably one of the most kid-friendly brewpubs we’ve been to, which is great for beer nerds with a baby - huge space in downtown Longmont, with a lot of additional seating outside on the patio - homey/cozy inside - the staff was friendly and attentive, and best of all, they seemed to actually know something about the beer they were serving - 5 buck flights are, of course, always nice - there were 9 beers available on our visit, which is respectable, but there was not a huge variety (pretty much all session ales, with the exception of the Scotch Ale) - the food was definitely much better than one would expect from a pub, especially since the menu, at first glance, doesn’t seem that interesting - the beers were mostly subpar, but you can tell that the brewer is capable of some decent stuff - worth a stop if in Longmont, but I would not make a special trip for the plae. | | rmags11 (10), Colorado | | February 25, 2009 Great location and ambiance. They have some nice house brews. It is a brew pub so if you are looking for variety this isn’t the place for you. They are always busy, so if need some social interaction this is a good choice. | | CaryTheDude (21), Longmont, Colorado | | January 28, 2009 Awesome place to chill and drink a beer. Its $4 a pint there, so it’ll suck money out of you wallet really quickly if you’re not careful. Food was pretty solid, and all of their brews are at least drinkable, if not fantastic. Their imperial stout kicked ass. And you can get a flight of 5 brews for $5 which was awesome. | | Dansting (114), Overland Park, Kansas | | June 27, 2007 Visited for dinner on a Thursday night. The building was pretty big and right on the main street in Longmont. We had a group of five of us, but we were seated outside almost immediately. The service was very good, as the waitress was very friendly. The food was extremely good (I had a huge chicken burrito), and the beers were also very tasty. The atmosphere was perfect, as the staff, seating, and weather were all ideal for having a good time. I would definitely stop back if I was nearby. | | michael-pollack (71), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania | | October 1, 2006 Coll place. Fire fighter memorabilia on the wall. Lots of beers on tap. Friendly service. | | waolsen (60), Littleton, Colorado | | September 24, 2006 We were looking for Lefthand when we stumbled in here. Nice bar with real nice patio right on Main St. Great place to watch games. The beers were enjoyable and the food was better than most breweries in the area. Definately worth a stop. | | ratman197 (104), Arvada, Colorado | | May 21, 2006 Nice open, airy bar area with polished stainless fermenters visable above the bar. The bartender was quite friendly and offered plenty of samples. The beer selection was excellent with 5 regulars and 5 specials. The food was very tasty with a diverse selection. A very enjoyable brewpub! | | Braudog (478), Dayton, Ohio | | April 17, 2006 April 2006: We got a bad review of this place from a brewer at another brewery in the state, so our expectations were low. But we were pleasantly suprised. The bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly and on top of it. Not all the beers were great, but they offered a slew of them, and overall I’d say they were pretty good. Didn’t eat, but would have. Nice outdoor patio. | | BeerandBlues2 (159), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | July 26, 2005 Nicely decorated in Firehouse theme with plenty of seating available. Good selection of house beers on tap including some seasonals. The food is standard pub fare with okay pricing. Service was decent but not excellent. | | ¾ (615), Boulder, Colorado | | February 25, 2004 A very nice building with abundant outside seating, and generally friendly people working and drinking. The beer is above average, but not exceptional, though they score points for having plenty on tap. Also they offer a couple of other locals on tap, such as New Belgium Frambozen over Xmas 2003. |
