The ambiance is that of a wine bar, not a brew pub. The place is narrow and regardless of where you sit on the lower level, you will be getting bumped into. While the beer was good, I didn’t care for the overall character of the place. I won’t return.

Looks a little highfalutin at first glance, but it's actually rather laid back in there, where even a stinky ski bum would feel comfortable. Nice atmosphere, good service, decent beer, and excellent food (get the seared tuna with miso sauce, or any of the appetizers). My wife and I were only in Steamboat Springs for three days but liked the food so much we ate there twice. Beer isn't too shabby, either, and they had seven beers on tap when I was there. Only complaint is that they were all on the mild side ... no "big" beers to speak of.
