Colchester Wine and Spirits

This place is located right next door to the Stop & Shop, making it very easy to find. Huge store, but the space is mostly designated for wines and hard liquors. The back wall is all coolers for beer. There is also a very, very short section of shelving designated for warm singles. Within the warm shelf section, I found Corsendonk Brown and Pale, Hitachino Nest Weizen, De Dolle Oerbier, Unibroue Edition 2004, Morimoto Soba, and a dozen or so other singles, all of which were top shelf beers. In the coolers, I found some interesting sixers including Hop Wallop, the full Wolaver’s line (witbier, brown ale, pale ale, IPA), and several others that I can’t recall. All in all, the selection was good, but not something I would make a special trip for. If you’re up this way, stop in here, and take a 2 minute drive down the street to Broadway Wine & Spirits as well. Between the two, you should find a nice selection.
