This is easily the best beer store in the area (sorry Crazy Bruce’s!). They have a very good selection of beers from all around the world, at reasonable prices. Also, they usually have beer and liquor samples available for tasting on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Good selection, just hard to find what you’re looking for sometimes as bottles seem to be placed haphazardly, or perhaps carelessly more so than hapharardly, on the shelves. For example, they have at least a few De Dolles at any given time, but they seem to not know what to do with them and they can end up strewn over many feet of shelving. The vintage section is cool, but if the store truly cared about their beer section, they could do so much more with it. It’s almost sad to see such a nice feature be so overlooked. Pricing just fine for the area. A good place to check out.

I’ve been here a few times and this is an ok beer store. One cool thing is that they have a vintage section (they have DFH 120, Harviestoun Old Engine Oil, DFH Raison D’Extra, Unibroue Anniversary Ales, Avery Mephistopheles, some ciders, Albert le Coq, Petrus Pale, and other Belgian 750s I can’t remember right now). Other selection is ok, but not as good as the other big stores in the area. Your usual Belgians and local beers. Rather disorganized though. Domestic section is rather weak for a good beer store. Prices are standard for the area I think.

Stopped in here before returning from business in Hartford area (almost missed my flight too). Selection was stellar, atlough I was only able to skim a couple aisles (including the singles / rare import area). Atmosphere was bright and clean but the pricing was rather expensive, relative to what I’m used to in Mid Atlantic area.
