I have been coming here for years prior to turning 21 years old and have always lover the food. They make some of the best pizza I have ever had, and thier entrees are decent as well. My buddy Nick introduced me to their bar area which I had never really payed much attention to in the past. What an introduction! Of all the times I have been there, I have always walked away with a new favorite brew. They have a great variety on tap that rotates every week and sometimes even throughout the night. The bartender, Mark, is very helpful and beer wise and often ready with a few free samples. Many great times and great laughs with the guys. This is THE place to go if your in the area. I went here for pizza and beers one sunday. The margarita pizza was excellent. The bar area was pretty small. Good selection of beers and everything came in the proper glass, but a couple of taps were out and we finished off another before we left. Mark was willing to chat about beers while we drank. Cask beers are alos avaible here but the case was empty when we were there. Will have to return to this place when the taps change up.

We like to stop in for dinner after catching the Bridgeport/Port Jeff Ferry on our way to PA. The beer selection is usually only 4 or 5 on tap at any time, but the beers are rotated regularly so a return trip brings new brews. The pizzas are really quite good. The Margherita Pizza is a favorite. Real nice thin crust.

A great small town place in that there is a small but rotating tap list, cask ales, regular beer events and a nice bottle menu. Friendly staff and good food make this place a go to whenever meeting some of my friends from that part of the state.

A decent pizza joint, with some nice evening entree specials. The real quality of this place is hiding in a little closed off section near the entrance... a decked out tap room. Granted they only keep 5 to 6 beers on tap at any given time, but the selections range from Southampton to Saison to Dupont to Rodenbach. Plus they have a very nice bottle menu. The staff in the tap room is friendly and very knowledgable. Huge selection of proper glassware... usually they can find the glass that is specific to the brew you ordered.

UPDATE: HAve been back several times since my first bad experience here. THe service is great and friendly, beer and food is always excellent, great place to hanf out with a friend to two who love beer. These numbers reflect my very bad first experience with this place (2004 - aweful service in the restaurant, waitress didn’t know what kind of beer they had, and there was no menu available). Will update the numbers when I have more good experiences. But since then I have been there twice, both of which were only to the bar. The service was much better, the food was delicious Italian, and the bartender a knew a little about the beer (but not much); it seems that only one guy keeps tabs on the beer (bottles and tap). When he is there the experience is better. There are usually 5 unique brews on tap. From what I gathered most come for the taps. Prices are reasonable.
