| beachbum25 (53), Powellville, Maryland | | May 16, 2006 [ Updated February 14, 2009 ] Earlier reviews sum it up perfectly. Decent beer selection-espacially for Delmarva, & it’s on the way to the beach. Better wine/spirits selection. *****Rerate 5/23/08***** They have remodeled recenty & while the place looks nicer, the beers seem to have gone more mainstream. More macro stuff & imatation micros made by the big brewers. Still had enough decent choices you could find something, but not much more. Don’t stop here unless you have to, there are better bottle shops on the Delaware & Maryland shore. | | desurfer (77), Pinellas Park, Florida | | January 23, 2006 Decent selection of sixers, and on the way to the beach. Like Milkman said, it’s where it is rather than what it has that makes this place worth a stop. | | MilkmanDan (20), Eagan, Minnesota | | July 31, 2004 [ Updated August 3, 2004 ] Nothing fancy here, but at least a spot on the way to Rehoboth with some decent micros. Yard’s, DFH, Magic Hat, and Flying Fish were pretty much it, but it’s a block off US 13 in Seaford and, if you’re on the way to the beach, it’s worth it to stop to get a few things. Singles selection was virtually nonexistent, so you’re buying six of something, but it’s better than nothing. |
