RateBeer Brew Tour Guide's Comments
An old fashioned grocery with many Danish beers as well. The selection changes a lot. Specialized in international beers with probably 50 different countries represented. Large German and Belgian selection and a good deal of Danish micros alo.

| KnutAlbert (129), Oslo, Norway | | September 18, 2008 There are better beer shops in town, but this has a fine location, and there should be something of interest here. A wide range of imports, not so big on Danish micros. A fair few excotic lagers, but very decent Belgian and North American beers, too. A sign said they have Westvleteren in the cellar. | | Dedollewaitor (38), Odense, Denmark | | September 15, 2008 Nice small basement with plenty of beers from around the world. US: Jolly pumpkin, flying dog, hoppin frog etc... Friendly owner & fair prices after danish standards! Positive! | | sayravai (82), Helsinki, Finland | | September 15, 2008 Larger than Barley Wine or Ølbutikken, and carries a reasonable amount of beers. Nothing spectacular, though, with the emphasis more on lagers and average ales, than extreme/rare stuff. Also central location. | johan_s (3), Copenhagen, Denmark does not count | | May 30, 2008 I go there every if I’m in the neighborhood. They do have some good stuff every now and then. However, I liked the place better before they took on board all the Danish micros. Staff varies and is not always knowledgable, but personally I dont care. | | sunevdj (31), Copenhagen OE, Denmark | | January 19, 2008 Nice little shop with an OK selection of Danish Micros and some of the better foreign beers. Nothing unusual compared to other beer stores in CPH. | | larsga (101), Oslo, Norway | | June 24, 2007 Nice small basement store with a wide selection of beers from around the world. Danish micro selection is quite good. Smaller than the Danish supermarkets, but more daring, and more rare brews. Service was fine. | | BeerBiker (33), Odense, Denmark | | April 4, 2007 A place where a newcomer-rater always can find new beers, as I did. The selection of danish microbrews were better than expected and I’ll visit the place again to gain some overseas beers, because the time of my visit, early april, was out of season. | | voota (80), Melbourne, Australia | | February 11, 2007 Stumbled across this place looking for barley wine, a nice suprise really. Friendly service, solid range of beer at very good prices (Beer Geek for 40DKK). There is nothing too amazing in the selection really, they cover a lot of countries and styles. The girl there was pretty cool and helpful, without having too great a knowedge. Worth a stop if in the area. | | faroeviking (94), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark | | February 7, 2007 [ Updated November 12, 2007 ] A lot of beers available here but be AWARE of the dates on the beers. The owner really doesn’t care at times and sell beers past date and the service is so so. Better when the nice helpful woman is there. Interesting selection of beers. Quite pricey though. | View Page : 1 2 3
