| Fin (97), Merton, England | | October 18, 2009 This used to be a regular haunt of mine when I lived in Worcester, I still visit it frequently when popping back to meet my mum. Always has about 4-5 beers on handpump, and with a strong focus on local beers. Two pleasant bars though I tend to always use the one to the right hand side as you enter the pub, lovely little pub. | | downender (116), Bristol, England | | May 30, 2009 [ Updated May 31, 2009 ] Visited on 30 May 2009. Enjoyable pub with rooms either side of a central bar and a pleasant patio. 5 Ales were on offer (2 Hobsons, 1 from each of Kinver, Beowulf and Wye Valley) - the 3 I sampled were all in very good condition. Service was friendly as were the locals. A good place to visit and very close to the cathedral. | | Gazza (136), Worcester, England | | July 3, 2007 Was almost closed last year when the owner tried to turn it into offices for a solicitor’s. Enter a new landlord and the place has really taken off! Up to six beers (usually 3-4) and great food all combine to offer a proper locals’ pub feel yet with views of the cathedral. The best pub in Worcester for beer quality and sociability. |
