| Oakes (323), Miami Beach, Florida | | October 7, 2008 Nice little store, with an interesting selection. With wood and old bottles around, if feels more like a proper beer store than many other places in South Florida. There were some interesting choices, and they had the Brewing News out, which I always appreciate. I’m sure I’ll check it out again next time in Boca. | | ucusty (53), Wake Forest, North Carolina | | July 8, 2008 good place, decent selection especially for s. fl. I will definitely be back | BeerNutz75 (3), Florida does not count | | April 3, 2008 I LOVE THIS PLACE! I don’t know of any other place that you can find the selection. Definitely THE place to buy beer to go. I went to a beer tasting that they did at The Funky Buddha Lounge and it was easily the best one I have ever been to.. they had a 1989 Thomas Hardy, a bottle of Utopias, a list that would BLOW your mind. Support these guys, beer stores like this are few and far between. | | mgumby10 (45), West Palm Beach, Florida | | January 17, 2008 Pretty decent little beer store for South Florida. Very big selection for the space, sold singles, the manager seemed fairly knowledgeable and interested about beer. Had some good seasonals and some specialty stuff too. Decent little store. | | pumpmaster (13), Florida | | October 28, 2007 [ Updated November 2, 2007 ] Glad to find this place so close to home. Good prices, singles and good service. | | slimchill (46), Austin, Texas | | June 3, 2007 [ Updated September 15, 2008 ] This place has a lot of beers it should have, but not a lot that make give it a huge draw. The service depends on the staff, ranging from diinterested but helpful to downright snobbish. They have a small selection of homebrew supplies. | Bosco (4), Boca Raton, Florida does not count | | January 20, 2006 The guy knows his stuff. | Davhgbrew (2), Boca Raton, Florida does not count | | November 12, 2005 I live in Boca, and thanks god for this place. When I was living in Mass. finding Dogfish Head WWS was nearly impossible. Now it’s less than 2 miles away...aah, it’s a good feeling. Very nice selection, and as was mentioned in other ratings, very helpful employee(s). Nothing to travel to Boca for, but then again what is, lol. | | BierBauch (16), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida | | June 16, 2005 Living in the Ft. Myers area sucks when to comes to finding good beer. So on a recent trip across Alligator Alley I made a point of bringing a map along that would land me in this small but resourceful beer store. The selection was satisfying and the clerk went out of his way to help me find something new as well as some old reliables. Several good micros chilled and cellar temp, several good German and Belgian selections and quite a few from eastern european countries. Stock seemed to be well rotated judging by the package dates. The clerk also offered to take special beer orders if available. Overall a great experience and one worth repeating.
| | Sammy (206), Toronto, Ontario | | June 12, 2005 A good store for Florida, period. Perhaps a 100 single bottles to choose from, and not so well publicized from the wesite. Great help. Kudos for single bottle policy, and cold but not too cold. Anything they can get in, they carry. Was pleased to find Avery Reverand, some hard to find Left Hands, and Jewbelation. Remmber to ask for the free bottle opener keychain. Near Brewzz in Boca. And I didn’t even get started on the kegs. Not a huge store, but very clean and well organized. Ample free parking.
