July 9, 2006 Recommended by a friend, I went in for an early lunch. A good dozen taps, mainly of standard fare but with a couple less usual ones like Maudite and Boddington’s (this is the US remember). Among the bottles and taps Lagers are king- hardly a shock in Miami, but beers from Belgium, Germany, Quebec, and all over the caribbean and Mexico. Beware though, just because it’s on the shelf, it may not be in the fridges. I was saddened to not be drinking a Lindeman’s Kreik. But then the Ephemere Cassis was a decent consolation prize. |
