5 reviews for Lagniappe Brewing Company
| satan165 (60), River Grove, Illinois | | September 6, 2009 a must stop in central florida. owner/brewer brad has a wonderfully comfortable and clean area to share his beer with the world in. the regulars are about as nice a bunch as exists anywhere. can’t say enough good things about this place. | | sebletitje (78), Tampa, Florida | | August 30, 2009 Location in small industrial area on Center st.
Inside is very cozy and clean with some coffee tables and sofas to sit and enjoy the beer.
There is a bar that fits about 6 people and all the beers are on tap. A glass window gives view on the brewing equipment.
Not much ambiance to speak of, some laid back classic rock and a few locals enjoying a beer. Food consists of popcorn and chips and pizza delivery. They have beer for sale. Overall the samplers are fairly priced with 3, 8oz glass for 6$
Brad was available to chat about his beers. He is doing some good things there, and he deserves a better distribution outside the Orlando area.
Nice location close to road 50, just a little out of way from I4 Tpa-Orl highway. Surroundings are nice with the lake nearby and good scenic route 50 back to Tampa. | | hopscotch (152), Vero Beach, Florida | | July 27, 2009 From the outside, it’s just another industrial/office park brewery. On the inside, the tasting area and bar is quaint and homey. The brewer and his wife tend the bar and dole out large and small glasses of his beer. The bar is really cool... looks homemade with the sheet metal look (I’ve always liked that), but the wood work is nice. It’s quiet and has limited, but very comfortable seating. A great place to sit with friends and enjoy a few brews while leafing through one of the many beer books laying around on the coffee tables. Prices are reasonable with mixed sixers available to take home. | | Beerlando (43), Orlando, Florida | | May 28, 2009 PorterPounder summed it up well, so I’ll just reiterate much of what he said. I visited on a Wednesday early evening in May 2009. Small brewery in a strip mall with an equally small tasting room next door. Owner/Brewer Brad was really nice, and several locals were on hand imbibing their hometown brews. The space is small, but very clean and bright inside. There were 4 draft options: a porter, a hefeweizen, a golden/amber hybrid, and an English style IPA. As of the time of my visit, Brad had just gotten his bottling in order, so I was able to take 2 of each beer home. The prices were very reasonable ($8 for an 8oz. sample pour of all 4 beers). Bottom line, it’s probably not a place I’d go out of my way to seek, but it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. | | PorterPounder (180), Tallahassee, Florida | | April 4, 2009 New little start up located in the suburbs north of Orlando in an industrial/retail strip mall. Has a nice little taproom located next to the brewery. Full of thirsty locals when I was there in nearly April 2009. Owner/Brewer - Brad - was on hand and very friendly and knowledgeable. Had four on tap with with plans to start bottling soon so folks can take home six packs. Some of their stuff is starting to show up around the I-4 corridor - saw it at Rossi’s Pizzeria in Orlando. Beer very decent - no boundary stretchers here yet - had a porter, blonde ale, a hefe and an IPA with plans for more in the future. Stop by - just a few miles off the turnpike on your way to or from Orlando. |
