GodOfThunder (5), Orlando, Florida does not count - explanation | | September 29, 2008 Alan has himself an amazing beer store. Between Knightly Spirits and Redlight Redlight, there is no other places you need to stop when in Orlando. | | satan165 (25), River Grove, Illinois | | September 21, 2008 [ Updated September 23, 2008 ] 10 for selection and value. even if they had 1/2 of what they did, they have better prices on ’regular’ stuff then what i pay at home. spoke with a couple workers, both were super nice and knowledgeable, one offered me some rarities from behind the scenes. blew $100+ in a week while in town on vacation, yes, it is the ultimate! | | Headbanger (27), Aurora, Illinois | | September 18, 2008 [ Updated September 26, 2008 ] This place was recommended by Hopscotch and it has a great selection of Belgians but a little lacking in Micros. Not sure if it is the Florida market or what but the service was outstanding and very helpful. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the Orlando area.
| | mabel (71), Toronto, Ontario | | September 14, 2008 Visited last December after flying in to Orlando from Toronto for work. (I would have got there sooner had the GPS device not been in simulation mode... grrr!) Wonderful selection, I was not disappointed until later when I realized how much all the good stuff had cost. Well worth it though, and the service was quite helpful. The owner wasn’t there but the guy who was finally got on his cellphone to him to try and find what I had on my list, which was nice. Definitely worth the gander, if you’re in town, as they have some great brews available. | | kiefdog (58), Tampa, Florida | | August 31, 2008 Visited twice in the last month. What can I say about this store that has not already been said? This place has the largest selection of belgian and belgian-style ales that anyone can imagine in the states. If a new beer has been released by a distributor in the United States, this store is likely to stock it. Noticed 4 cases of DFH 120 minute IPA and four cases of Jolly Pumpkin Weizen Bam on the most recent visit not exactly a common sight. Unfortunately, they are having difficulty securing Trappist Rochefort as most places in Florida are at this time. But, if you are anywhere in the state of Florida (or beyond) and want to peruse an outstanding collection of craft and imported beers, this is the place to go. Alan has been in the store both times I visited and he is an outstanding resource as he has tasted and can talk fluently about just about every beer and mead they stock. In fact, if you ask him, he might just be able to pull something special that you cannot find anywhere else. Definitely worthy of the ratings and hype. | | Homer321 (10), Rockledge, Florida | | July 14, 2008 great selection of belgains and hard to find micros. staff is always willing to help. They carry liquor too, I guess, but I go straight for the Phantomes! Every time I go to Orlando, I make it a point to go to Knightly | | ucusty (53), Wake Forest, North Carolina | | July 8, 2008 In town visiting and Alan really hooked me up. Got my sour fix, he even let split a couple sixers, and then threw in a glass! Wish I had more scratch when I visited. God Damn Disney! | | daknole (12), Plantation, Florida | | June 24, 2008 So a buddy and I made the trip to Olrando from Ft Lauderdale just to visit KS. And wow. Before I mention anything I have to say that Alan is just amazing. His beer knowledge puts him in the status of true beer god. What a great guy. And the selection is amazing. Jolly Pumpkin, Mikkeller, Weyerbacker, Oskar Blues, DFH, Cantillon, and TONS more. Perfect beer store and well worth spending a full day just to visit for 45 mins! | | BeerVirgin72 (55), C-Bus, Ohio | | June 15, 2008 Very nice clean bright store. Good selection. Loved all the different Scotchs. Very nice selection. And the prices were very decent compared to Ohio. The service was outstanding and I was absolutely thrilled to finally meet Alan who truly hooked me up with a few things. THANK YOU!!!! | | thill25 (11), Orlando, Florida | | May 11, 2008 Awesome! Great selection! Can’t wait to go back!!! | View Page : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
