June 8, 2009 Very fun place whose hook is more the social pub atmosphere than the beers itself. Known for its ceiling filled with one-dollar bills added and signed by patrons over the years; it’s an impressive site. Rich McDuff, the pub singer, is very engaging and interacts with everyone while playing classic pub tunes, including having anyone who’d like join on stage to sing dirty limericks. Burgers are huge, great, cooked to order, and some are very unique. Ok, to the beer: draft selection of house brews only, usually about 5-7 available at a given time. They are all fairly enjoyable, but there’s nothing that will blow away the beer geek. Ladies drink for free on Thursdays. |

May 29, 2009 (visited in August of 2008). Nice pub style setting. Very busy place. 6 beers on tap. Service was good. Food is very good. Decent prices. Brewery equipment is visible from one of the dining areas on the east side of the pub. Also has a wine cellar with several row of bottles displayed. |

February 13, 2009 A kitch classic and a must when visiting the panhandle. Two gripes:1. The beers are introduced as "This is our Blue Moon," and "This is our Murphy’s." 2. They serve in frosted mugs, even though it was below 40deg F when we visited. Oh and they pipe in some pretty horrible music. Other than that, this is fun times two. The money ceiling, the double-decker bus, and the best is they have their own street sign in Pensacola, putting them on par with city hall. |

January 16, 2009 Big place. Lots of fun rooms. Full of kitsch but without sucking. Good service. Nice array of beers. The Red and Stout were particularly nice. I would definitely go back. |

March 26, 2008 I lived in P’cola for almost 7 years and probably didn’t visit this place as much as I could have/should have. Although it might be a bit touristy, its still worth experiencing. Very cool ambiance, dollar bills line the ceiling and some walls. If you get a chance, sit by the brewing area as they have chalk boards with some recipes on them. Kinda neat. The beer itself is pretty close to standards such as Guiness, Bass, an Irish Red, a decent porter, etc. The steaks are freakin’ awesome! Good size portions of food. Try the 18 cent bean soup. |

December 17, 2007 I have been to McGuires several times, and every time I have enjoyed the experience. The food is very nice and rustic, the atmosphere is very friendly, the service is always great, and the beverage selection is( spot on) to my English buddies! If i had to find a complaint it may be that it is always packed! |

December 13, 2007 I have been to McGuire’s three or four times in the last ten years and always make it a point of visiting whenever I’m in Pensacola. They have some of the best food in town, certainly the best beer, unique and fascinating decor and good service. This place would do gangbusters business anywhere, but in this town, it’s the best place for many, many miles for a beer enthusiast. |

September 19, 2007 If you like money you’ll love this place. The whole place is lined with $1.00 bills everywhere. Make sure you deface a G.W. to support their tradition. Food was average, service was good. Ordered a set of King Crab legs and they must not have been in season. :( |

September 12, 2007 Stopped in the day after the Emerald Coast Beerfest with my girlfriend and my brother. Our waitress was very friendly and familiar with their beer selection. We had three of their huge sandwiches and two pitchers of porter. The food was excellent and the beer was very good. Whenever in Pensacola or Destin we make a point to stop here. |
