January 1, 2007 The kitchen was closed the afternoon of New Year’s Eve; not sure why. I cracked open the beer menu and yeah, there are a lot of beers, but a whole lot of crap and other filler. Nothing all that rare or special; they didn’t even have SNCA, while TBBC across the street had it. Don’t bother. |

April 9, 2006 Don’t waste your time. Tampa Brewing is much much better. Like other raters have stated...this place has too much crap on tap. Limited selection of anything worth buying. Food is OK, fairly edible. Avoid. |

March 18, 2006 [ Updated February 5, 2007 ] Went with Degarth and Kevster. Basic Ybor bar, mostly crap beer on and a few good ones but way too pricey, the Brandon location has more beer and is a little bigger. |

February 28, 2006 Feels very much like a chain with the nice, but uncharismatic decor and the beer menu which is lengthy but contains little of high quality beer. I was happy to enjoy Optimater on draft, but the extra cold beer served in a frosted glass was disappointing. The menu has a fairly well written section on tasting beer, but its nearly impossible to do how cold they serve it. This place would have been excellent when I was first learning about craft beer. But now it just seems like a lot of mediocre beers. Far better places in the neighborhood for beer. As for food my service was quick and my food good, with huge servings, more than I could eat. Not a must see in Ybor. |

June 16, 2005 I tried a couple draughts here and was really dissapointed. They have a great selection on draught and bottle but the draught beer was too cold and too flat. Also they will try and serve everything in a frosted mug (Floridas beer curse). I give them credit for the selection but they got to pay attention to the draught beers. The food was just OK nothing great. Good place to find a good bottle of beer though. |

January 13, 2005 These sons of a bithc get the lowest rating I can give them. When I showed up with two colleagues on a Tuesday night at 8:45, they said they were closing "’cause it has been slow". BULLSHIT! How can you run a business where you arbitraly shut the doors when you feel like it. I will be returning to TB and will visit again and if they can redeem themselves, I will definitely change my rating. |

November 2, 2004 Some really good hot Indian dishes - the owner is Indian - beer selection has gone down, sometimes eem not so fresh and it is too expensive for my tastes. The atmosphere is pretty nice - outside deckover looking 8th Ave.in Ybor. |

September 25, 2004 [ Updated August 29, 2006 ] The place has really gone donwhill badly. Still tons of taps, but it gets more and more crapontap-istic every day. The staff no longer even pretends to know anything or care if they don’t. It might be worth poking your head in just to see what is on, but don’t expect much. |

January 12, 2004 [ Updated November 9, 2004 ] 25+ taps that flow of worldy and really decent and exciting, Belgians, German, British, and some adventurous America micros and such. They do have a great bottled beer selection as far as bars are concerned. As long as you are in Ybor City you may as well stop in and check the place out. It’s right in the vicinity of Tampa Bay Brewing Company and New World, so do it up right!
Oh, and I’ve always liked the ambiance of this place and the food is pretty good!
