As said below, tha name has changed, I’m not so sure to make the change here. It may be listed because just in front of the Gare du Nord, but I don’t think it represents any special beer interest in Paris. I got information from the other Falstaff that this location has burnt down, the bar that took its place has nothing to do with the previous Falstaff. Closed.

I have a soft spot for falstaff’s happy hour and the fact that they have chouffe on tap. other than that the place is unremarkable but friendly enough.

If this bar is at 15 Rue De Dunkerque then it has changed its name to Le Feu aux Trousses. Good draught selection: from what I can remember they had La Chouffe, McGregor Scotch, Liefmans Kriek and about 6 or 7 others on tap. Small but decent bottle selection including about a dozen french beers. I’m not an expert in this area but they seemed quite rare - they were also a bit pricey. Service was good, I ordered in French, but the waiter picked up on my accent and was joking with me in English. I didn’t eat but the food was inexpensive for Paris. The strip of bars infront of the Gare du Nord is supprisingly good. There’s another bar called Au Rendez Vous Des Belges a dozen doors down that has 7 draft beers including Chimay Blonde and L’Abbaye De Floreffe and loads of bottles. Service is much more pollite and friendly round here than in other parts of the city and the prices are ok for Paris (ie steep rather than second mortgage). Its a pitty that the view over the front of the station is so rubbish!

Pretty nice place with good cheap meals. I had gueuze-marinaded mussels. Counted fourteen taps and just under a hundred bottled beers. Their terrible German techno-music kind of ruined the experience for us though.

Excellent bar just opposite the Rue de Dunkerque exit of the Gare du Nord. Good and friendly bar staff, good food. I counted 13 draught beers available, the likes of Gueuze, Chouffe, Ch’Ti, Leffe Blonde, Paulaner Oktoberfest and Lindemans Kriek. Although my favourite beer here was a bottle of Annoeullin LAngelus Bière de Froment (from their pretty extensive collection of bottled beers), which was excellent.

Located near the Gare du Nord in Paris. It is easy to spot with the cool Nordic sign hanging out front. Inside it is cozy with lots of wood and breweriana from France and Belgium, and even some from the USA (the Miller one was interesting). The bar is on the left side with most of the bar space reserved for standing patrons.

The menu consists of over 100 bottled beers from all over the world (Czech, England, Belgium etc), and around 15 draughts (’pression’ in French), the likes of Chouffe, Kwak, Ch’Ti, Duvel, St. Bernadus etc. A very eclectic selection overall and a lot better than I was expecting.

The service here was decent, although it was kind of slow at lunch time.

I thought the food here was interesting. Ordering a medium well hamburger will get you a bunless burger that is red in the middle, although I have heard that is the norm in France.

Overall this place is a great find and I would recommend it. From what I have heard the location near the Bastille may be a little better though.
