Went to 5 Seasons North to help pour at the mini beer fest. While there, I tried a few beers and had some snacks. Overall, a nice place with a good number of beers and good food. This isn’t a place I get to go often, but it looks like they rotate some great beers. This is a great stop if you’re up 400 and looking for good beer (and food).

Met Atlanta ratebeer crew at 5 Seasons North tasting. An awesome place. Very well laid out. Great large table for tastings/parties upstairs. Friendly brewer and staff. Great food. Excellent.

I like the high ceiling, exposed beam, ski lodge atmosphere. The staff is attentive, and the food good. The Thursday cask night is a chance to try beers that are not on the regular menu. The beers on tap are limited to those brewed here, but have enough variety to satisfy different tastes.

Upscale feeling, lively atmosphere in evenings, while you can still hear yourself think. Fully stocked bar, enthusatic workers, lively atmosphere. Phillips LCDs adorn wood walls with copper bar ceilings. Fox News plays wo/sound. Fully exposed brewery, gleams with polished SS. Centered around high ceilings and fireplace, 5SN has a ski lodge/organic eatery/brewpub feel. Very nice location, beer, and food, prices are on the high end of the brewpub price range.

I’m a huge fan of 5 Seasons in the ATL, so I had to check out this location. I believe it represents the brand quite well. The lunch was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and presentation. I had very delicious blackened fish tacos while my friend had a tasty shrimp burger. The service was friendly and very prompt. The ambiance is refined and sophisticated without being snooty. I’ll probably stick to the one downtown only because Alpharetta is a bit out of the way from my usual route.

So, I visited this brewery on the recommendation of The Beer Cellar. I was not disappointed but I was not blown away either. I liked the facility overall, and the service was fine. I was a bit disappointed with my food. Not that it tasted bad but it was just lacking in certain areas. For example, I don’t think the descriptions of their pizzas give you a good idea about what you are going to get (thin crispy crust with no sauce-at least on the one my wife ordered) and while my fish tacos were good, there was hardly any fish and there were minimal sides to go with the tortilla and little bit of fish. They were out of some of their beers when I arrived and the ones they did have on tap were not particularly great (though nothing was particularly off either). I was disappointed to find out that I could not get a bottle of their beer masters collection bottled beers to go (against state law). As such I could not try what I am sure were some excellent brews. I would go again, but probably at night and with a group. That seems like more fun.

Very nice place with great atmosphere and very good service. The food is kind of fancy but very interesting (aligator taquitos for example!). I was a bit disappointed because when I visited them, they just have like four kind of they one brew on tap and no more. They were very good but, I was expecting more variety. Anyways, I recommend the place very much

Worth travelling out your way for. This is literally the next city after Atlanta. But is it gorgeous. And you get their food plus Crawford’s(Daddy Dogwood’s)beer efforts.

An absolutely essential stop in Alpharetta. On the site of the former Buckhead Brewery, it’s got a nice lodge feel to the place that played out well on a chilly January night. The food is expensive, but it’s good. The menu is a bit limited. The beer here is exceptional. There are about 5-6 on tap, but they’ll have their top shelf Whisky Barrel stuff in bottle. I spent the evening with the boss working out the problems of the world, but it was over two of the best beers that I’ve ever had - especially from a brewpub. The brewers here know their stuff. Make sure that you ask for Natalie - she’s a great waitress.

Nice place. Service was very good but minimal beer knowledge. Beer selection not that great on this visit. Tried there hand bottled barleywine at $20/bottle. Did not know the price of the beer until it showed up on the bill. My fault for not asking. Food was very good, which means the wife would return for the food. Worth the drive from ATL, but beer choice will be a crap shoot.
