6 reviews for Taco Mac (Perimeter)
| CheersMate1 (34), Atlanta, Georgia | | May 10, 2009 Very good service. If you ask me, Taco Mac service usually blows! Unless you are at the one in Roswell. That is because it has a bunch of older people. I went to Roswell High School, so I know. I have been plenty of times. Anyways, barternders are prompt here. Has the basic layout of every Taco Mac. I just say what puts them apart from the others is the service. Food is the same at all of the Taco Macs. A lot of business people i.e. dress shirt and tie crowd. Although I must say being 24 years-old, some of these older dudes cannot handle their alcohol. Make a stop by; good bar. | atlbeerguy (1), Georgia does not count - explanation | | May 1, 2009 This is a nice place to visit with friends. It’s not one go to by yourself or with just one other person unless you don’t mind loud crowds. There are a lot of TVs, so you’ll never miss a sporting event. They have 100 beers on tap and 280 bottles. There’s an outdoor patio on those nice days and remarkably, that’s a little quieter. Their food is generally good, but nothing exceptional. It definitely has a chain feel to it. The Lindbergh location has a nice beer dinner from time to time which is something I wish they would bring to this location as well. The service is always excellent which is one of the biggest reasons I come back. | | accpete (10), Tallahassee, Florida | | March 21, 2009 Indeed 100 taps on the wall, unfortunately the couple of unique offerings I wanted were out. Plenty of bottle selections. Prices felt a bit high, but perhaps right for the metro market. Obviously a place for food and sports viewing. Atmosphere is more of a place to get a meal and add a good beer than simply a place to go for beer. Still, it’s nice to have a place with such a selection. | | osu97gp (11), Atlanta, Georgia | | January 30, 2009 The wall of taps is an amazing site. A beer menu that looked to be updated once a week that includes what is gone, going soon, new, and coming soon. I got the same thing I got to eat at the highlands location, but my wife tried the fish tacos and loved them. The prices for food are pretty decent. Alot of TVs for viewing whatever is on at the time also. | | cchubb (12), Minneola, Florida | | September 25, 2008 Buzz is the man behind the bar to see when you want an expert guide to the wall-o-taps. I also appreciated the full beer menu with a nice mix of domestic micros and international superstars. I also appreciated that the prices are on the beer menu, a rare thing and a good way not to get any unpleasant surprises. The fish tacos were good and they were happy to customize them to my liking. Beers were fresh and served promptly, though the glasses were too cold and were standard iced tea glassware. Prices were fair and food and a 3 beers had me out the door for under $25. The place lacks any real personal style, more chainy cheerfulness but I have to give them credit for bringing good beer to the masses. | | desurfer (77), Pinellas Park, Florida | | December 17, 2007 Had a great lunch and some good beers here while in the Perimeter Center area for business. Good Cuban. Lots of draft micros to choose from. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. |
