Across the street and down just a bit from Mahr’s brewery, Keesmann’s a nice inner patio section for outdoor seating. Weissbier and Helles to drink, and a small snack for eats as well, it was a fun time, but nothing spectacular. Good for a relaxing drink or two.

Seems to be a popular place with groups of men playing cards. The beers are excellent (love the Pils and Sternla) but it’s not my favourite pub in town. Service was very friendly, didn’t try the food.

Nice, friendly staff, willing to help us out to get as most of their beers available. Indeed the bratwurst war herrlich! Nice beergarten and pub.

A clean and quite modern brewpub, but still with very classical elements. It has more patrons than the other places visited in Bamberg. The service is very friendly. 3 beers on draft - though only the bock was new for me, and 2 beers in bottles.

One of the younger Bamberger brewpubs and you can see it at the location. Everything is a bit more modern, though they tried to create a classy look. Very friendly people serving though. Decent bratwurst for breakfast :-)

There was 4 different beers on Draught, it was a bit light in the baar, not cosy at all, but they had a bock on draugh, so I was happy.

Not my favorite brewpub in Bamberg, but the beers are OK. Quick service. The decoration is less "old brown" as most other Bamberg brewpubs.

Popped in a 11am Monday morning to make sure I had tried their Herren Pils before leaving - I wasn’t the first in there with a drink in my hand. Looked a nice place.

Not the best place in town modern decoration. Beers are okay, you can get all the beers from Keesmann on tap.

More modern decoration than most establishments in Bamberg, but then again for North America this would be old. Everyone there was drinking the Herren Pils from tap, so we followed along. It’s a decent enough pils, but nothing special. The food though was a hit, the spargelsuppe (cream of white asparagus) was sumptuous, and the matjesfilets were equally delicate and flavorful. One of the best meals we had in our trip, but then again it doesn’t take much to stand out there food-wise.
