Wow this is an unbelievable place.
From the outside, you only see a few Germans sipping on warm 50cl. Step inside and discover a treasure chest of beers.
We managed to find beers from the US that I had not even seen out there in years, from flying dog seasonals to old sam adams triple bock.
The guy who owns the place welcomes you with his typical East German humor and offers an outstanding service.
My brother usually buys his beer from him and I first got there on bike. We soon took the car out there and loaded up on some serious rarities either from Germany or Belgium. Other rarities included beers from Australia, Africa, many other Eastern European small brews.etc.

Stunning place. Extremely knowledgeable guy who runs this, I guess speaking German helps on getting to know the right stuff. A few locals showing in. Placed along Karl Marx Allee which is a really deserted place in the former East-Berlin. Anyhow. I received somewhat the best service ever and received background information about the beer scene in Berlin that was up to date. Selection holds a variety of rare German brews. Tell what beers you’ve had from the brewery and you’ll be presented by at least one new beer for each brewery you mention. Wide selection of beers from Haus of 131 Biere out of Hamburg.

A funny place, with some real characters hanging around the shop drinking beer giving their advice on what to buy. Lots of obscure German beers, I did not look to closely on their import range. There should be something for everyone here.
Extremely convenient for public transport.

Tons and tons of German brews - names I’d never heard of in my life. Cheap, too. Sadly, there was only one Berliner Weisse (in Berlin, no less!). Located in the heart of the former East Berlin.

Good rotating selection of German beers, selection of Belgians and Dutch is poor - there are almost as many from Russia. Prices generally in the €2 range. Owner was very funny and knows his stuff, and happily buzzed around the shop pulling bottles from the shelves for me. Quite a few bocks and bock-variants.
Stop is Strausberger Platz, close to Alex and with a prominent view of the Fernsehturm from the street. |

Chaotic place, but really packed with many beers; the selection of Germans is wide. There is also a big selection of "beers of the world"; the Belgians are just ordinary. I also got good help from the owner The subway stop (U-Bahn) is Strausberger Platz.

Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area, or even if you are not. Large selection of German beers, not so heavy on foreign beers outside Germany. Helmut - the owner and shop-keep - set me up pretty good and was very helpful. The entrance to the store is right next to a subway stop (U-Bahn). Easily accessible from Alexander-Platz.
