| stouby (38), Holbaek, Denmark | | November 21, 2007 Cozy place, a hotel with a brewpub. The serving was fine. Enjoyed their food and their 2 beerbrandies. Asked for a visit in the brewery, but we weren’t enough (a thursday in November). Their beers are ok. | | yngwie (71), Kristiansand, Norway | | September 29, 2007 A cozy place in the same building as the Theodor Storm Hotel. That’s a quite convenient arrangement. There’s a nice beergarden in the back which would be the preferred place to slake the thirst in the summertime. Inside, the brewery is situated in the middle of the seating area. I didn’t try the food they were offering, but at least what the other guests were eating, looked nice. As Husum is located by the sea, there’s a good deal of sea-food dishes, but also the meat-dishes everyone in Germany serves. | | Sigmund (69), Hafrsfjord, Norway | | August 20, 2005 [ Updated September 9, 2005 ] Good looking brewpub and restaurant in the Theodor Storm Hotel (a Best Western hotel) in the old harbour city of Husum in Schleswig-Holstein, since 1991. The beers are not that much out of the ordinary German range, but worth a try. Good food. Daily Happy Hour 17.00 - 19.00. They have their own tent during the Husumer Hafentage (harbour days / festival) in August, but the brewpub is prettier (and less noisy!). Beers are available out of house in 2 liter fliptop siphons (growlers). |
