We sat in a small covered patio, enjoying a zoigl and an excellent cheese platter. Lively atmosphere, maybe a bit spartan. Friendly service.

Very interesting place. Has a small beergarten in a covered corridor but may expand the outdoor seating in summer. The interior was bustling, by Neuhaus standards. Friendly service, and a young girl no older than 10 and dressed in traditional clothing was our server. She was self-conscious and awkward but still very efficient and I’m assuming to be the heir to Teicher. Had a nice array of snacks on the menu, and all the stuff is locally made. The speckwurst was excellent. The town itself seems to be much younger and less insular than Windischechenbach.

Busy place on zoigl-day. Good crowd, some living room vibe and some biergarten vibe. Family place. Good snacks. Very tasty zoigl.
