| Beershine (261), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam | | June 22, 2009 Knowledgeable staff has respect for local brews and a finger on the pulse of Franconian beer. This is the place to go to find out about current beer events that might be taking place in the region (festivals etc). They maintain a thoughtful variety of Franconian beers including rarer ones. Staff is usually very good about volunteering information about beers or local goings-on. An essential first stop when in town. | | downender (116), Bristol, England | | February 16, 2008 [ Updated February 21, 2008 ] Visited November 2007. Bar dealing in traditional Franconian fare. The English speaking barman was very helpful and my wild boar and venison goulash was excellent. The Pyraser and Fischer (Greuth) beers were also very good. Gets very busy, but a must visit destination in the altstadt. | | mullet (133), Melbourne, Australia | | January 14, 2008 I can’t believe I had to add this place! Wow. A fantastic bar in central Nuremberg with no apparent tie to a brewery. About half a dozen taps and about 30 different, very well-chosen bottles. Selection seems to change periodically. Very helpful, friendly service. Easily the best place to drink in central Nuremberg. |
