Landbierparadies

An excellent selection of Franconian beers from small producers. Prices are very reasonable and the service is efficient. Landbierparadies also supplies the Der Treffpunkt Franken delicatessen in the Hauptbahnhof, which is more expensive but is open on Sundays and most holidays.

This place has moved recently to a more adequate spot a few minutes from the Hauptbahnhof. Parking space is limited, and you need a big car, because the selection is very good. Various very hard to find Franconian gems. The very helpful woman behind the counter promised it would be possible to get beer from the internet and sent home before the summer of 2007. I will be a loyal customer! Cheap by international standards.

A little bit hidden in a backyard, not far away from the "Hauptbahnhof" (main railway station) in Nürnberg: the "Landbierparadies" (lit.: paradise of rural beers); a store, that offers a fine collection of several franconian microbrewers, which are in "normal" shops or supermarkets only hard to find; the permanent selection is rounded by attractive seasonals. A must, when You are in Franconia, worth a journey !
