The brewpub has a pleasant small patio at the stuble. Their Schwartzkeller is up a long, steep and grueling hill--beware if on bicycle. Would not want to ride up there again but would not be a bad walk. We actually had to walk the bikes for the last half of the hill. Once there, the view is spectacular and you can see the whole valley. Plus the keg is inside of the actual keller, which is romantic. Self-serve. Very friendly vibe too.

A very lively place, even on a pouring wet and misty Saturday. Very cozy and home-like - yet still traditionally German. The kitchen gives the bierstube aromas of red beet. Good service. 4 beers on tap.

Larger, quite "elegant" - by franconian standards - village brewery. Almost only wood inside..., a small patio under shady chestnut-trees is used as a tiny and pleasant beer-garden. The tasty beers are worth a visit ! About three miles from the brewery they own on the foot of a wood-covered hill the "Schwarzer Keller" ("black cellar"), a nice place in the middle of nowhere to sample the "Schwarz Kellerbier" in huge steins. A nice view to the lovely franconian country is included..............
