FatPhil | Not a big fan of Meantime beers. Too cold, too fizzy. Not enough like beer! OK atmosphere, nothing special, we sat out in the back terrace and watched the helicopters overhead.

bhensonb | Seemed a typical pub (whatever that may be), but it was all taps rather than casks (xpt for a guest). Seemed strange, being in England. Good place to get Meantime, but that seems to be the only/principal reason to go.

SilkTork | Polite, middle class, liberal, arty, woody, expensive. Echoing noise and loud banging front door. One cask, Adnams Bitter (a great beer), but the draw here is this pub is the main outlet for the Meantime brewery - eight kegs and a variety of bottles (nothing cask conditioned as Meantime is a lager rather than an ale brewery). Food is about £10 a main dish. I like the place.

| Stonch | Meantime are now the capital’s second biggest brewer, and are to be commended for coming so far in just seven years. I just wish they’d put the appropriate styles in casks. Meantime, let us taste your beers as nature intended - served at the correct temperature, and without a side serving of extraneous CO2.
They don’t do brewery tours, by the way.
