August 12, 2008 Decent selection of belgian beers. Ambiance was crap, nothing to do over there. Horrible looking bar, bad counter. Only go here if you really want a Belgian beer and you dont have regular access to it. For ambiance, go to any classic english pub, which should not be difficult to find in London. |

March 2, 2008 Around the corner from where we stayed a nice selection of Belgians, I had a Saison Dupont and wife at a Duchesse on tap. Didn’t eat there and went on a quite Sunday night. The place was packed other nights |

September 23, 2007 Can get very busy, with speed of service suffering as a result. Has a good range of Belgian and Dutch beers for London, but prices are on the high side. Worth visiting if in the Covent Garden area, but doesn’t merit seeking out in its own right. |

January 30, 2007 Very busy - I was waiting for mates at a table and was asked to give it up - usual suits and business types. Feels like an All Bar One with Belgian clothes on. Bottle selection was Ok, didn’t have everything they claim on the website. Not enough staff which made them a little bit difficult. Food was a standard attempt at Low country fare, good portions though. The real winner was the draught selection - including Regal Christmas, a rare find on tap in the UK. I was hoping for better seeing as this is promoted as a ’genuine’ Belgian cafe. It isn’t - its still a theme bar. Shame. |

February 11, 2005 Nice menue of dutch and belgian brews. I found the dutch beers listed more interesting. It was very loud, crouded and busy, so the waitresses had a hard time. None of the waitresses knew who brews their own beer - the somehow disgusting Lowlander Strawberry. For somebody who traveled a lot to Belgium and the Netherlands it is not essential. |

February 5, 2005 Both times I’ve been it’s been too busy and loud. The beer list is a bit boring and prices are high. Not really worth going to any more than once. |

February 3, 2005 Has the best selection of the Covent Garden theme bars, but I’d rather buy my Palm from BeersOfEurope and drink it at home. The place is so noisy and crowded it is difficult to feel comfortable. I fail to see the point in going to somewhere like this. |

January 25, 2005 I was dissapointed. Its very overpriced, and constantly packed out. A few new beers but not much. Food was overpriced. Service was slow. |

October 4, 2004 Went here during our trip last month. This place was packed and we had to wait a good 20 minutes for a seat. Had a couple of good beers on draft and a bottle or two. The beer selection was very good but for some reason I was expecting more. I will not &quo;knock it&quo; for that however. We had some snack foods that were very good and cheap. Beers went down good. Our waiter was attentive. Definitely worth a stop if in London. |
