| KnutAlbert (129), Oslo, Norway | | December 4, 2006 A real local, very quiet on a weekday afternoon. They take pride in their ever changing range of beers, and the beer was fine, but the pub itself and the regulars are about as run down as physically possible. No gin palace, this! | | duff (42), Sydney, Australia, England | | July 7, 2004 Good selection of real ales and Belgain/germans on tap. The cask range is ever changing, i’ve been here twice and both times the cask beers have been totally different. The also have Hoegaarden, Budvar, Affligem and Paulaner on tap, if you feel like something from mainland Europe, they do have swill like Fosters and Stella if you’re in the mood for that. There is also a good bottles selection of Belgian and german beer, with proper glassware. The service wasn’t the best, but i din’t mind too much, because i got a few new beers on the board both times i’ve been there. |
