Sam Smith’s are usually a bit short on real ale. However, the Chandos is rather historical. Best in the "off" hours. It should not be missed, and there are other pubs nearby, if this disappoints.

A rather grubby Sam Smith’s pub, often jam-packed with tourists. I did eat in here once and the food was very, very poor. The place seems permanently understaffed. The Harp is only a stone’s throw away, so I wouldn’t bother.

Crowded Sam Smith’s pub just off Trafalgar Square. Can get very busy which unsurprisingly can lead to slow service. Very cheap for this part of London.

Pretty smokey pub, i’ve been in here for one quick pint on occassions and come out smelling like i’d been trapped in a chimney for a week. Samuel Smith beers aren’t my cup of tea really, but i suppose if you like that kind of stuff, you should check it out.

A great place to meet. Plenty of good seating available, pub is on two floors. Beer served well and staff very friendly. Food is also served very nice and good quality, you have to try "fish and chips with tartar sauce" with and old brewery.

A great Sam Smiths pub right opposite Trafalgar Square. As it is a Sam Smiths pub it is less than £2 a pint and in Central London that is a rarity. Normal selection of bottles. A great place to meet friends as there is ample space, background music on playing a good cross section of sounds. Plenty of good seating available as it is such a big pub, on two floors. Beer served well enough and staff very friendly, but I really only came here so I could buy Oatmeal Stout! A beer not to miss.
