Vısıted July 2008. Thıs ıs a very cool place located ın downtown Athens just mınutes from the Acropolıs. Enterıng on the street level, you are fırst met by an outdoor patıo and dınıng area, followed by an ınterıor, multı-level fırst floor bar and lounge area. We opted for the seats at the back near the conıcal fermentors. The second story has another bar and dınıng area, and houses more brewıng equıpment. A thırd level (or fourth, dependıng on how you vıew the layout) has a smaller dınıg area that looks lıke ıt rarely gets used, perhaps for prıvate partıes. The decor ıs very contemporary and ınvıtıng. Smokıng ıs allowed, and quıte overwhelmıng when busy, and that ıs a major turnoff. However, that seems to be par for the course ın Greece. Servıce was frıendly, but not very attentıve or knowledgeable. The beer ıs lımıted to sıx draft-only selectıons (though I dıd see a poster for a porter - perhaps a seasonal offerıng). They were: Athens Lager, Pılsner, Smoked Lager, Black Lager, Amber, and Weıss. All were quıte drınkable, but nothıng specıal. I found the Smoked Lager to be the best of the bunch. The Athens Lager ıs quıte good, consıderıng the style. All sıx were mıles ahead of anythıng else that I trıed ın Greece, but that really ısn’t sayıng much. Overall, I found the stop to be a safe haven for beer geeks ın a country that otherwıse seems to be null and voıd as far as beer goes.

The range of beers is quite nice. I was there early in the day, it was quiet and the kitchen was not open but the menu was simple appetizers. Would definitely recommend this place if your after some good beers while in Athens.

Nice place. Easy to find near the metro. God service. There was 6 different beer to tast. Pils, Athens lager, red ale, smoked lager, weiss and black lager. tryed theme all. The black lager was the best.

Easy to get to, pretty flash interior and looks smart. Most were downstairs watching a Greece football game, so the main bar wasn’t very full for a Saturday night. Got served up a tasting plate as soon as we enytered. Didn’t eat there but the menu wasn’t that inspiring. But I liked the place and would have visited again if I had the chance.

Located a stone’s throw from the Metro, this hip restaurant/night bar seemed over-swanked on first impression. Speedy, breathy jazz music swayed through the multi-level seating areas full of random locals and romance-seeking couples. Super quick service got annoying after the tenth inquiry for a beer choice (but was nice considering the rest of Greece forgets about you for two hours when you’re looking for the bill). The available pilsner, lager, red ale, smoked lager and black lager were all quite refreshing and nicely made (we spotted some on the island of Crete too). BBQ Chicken and veggies were cooked by us on the hot dolomite stone, but nothing overly special considering we’re doing all the work. Overall, I quite enjoyed the visit and liked the layout of all the brewing equipment strewn about the rooms.

They have outlets in a number of islands in the cyclades, too, so you do not have to go to Athens to find their beers. Spotted in Antiparos, Naxos and Syros (at least three cafes/bars). Fine beers, and the range varies from place to place. Update: I have now visited the brew pub itself. Nice, convenient for public transport, good food, good beer!

Therre are 2 locations. One in the centre of Athens the other at the northern suburbs in Chalandri. They brew their own beer, all sorts are great ! You get a sample disc with all of them in order to decide. The food is very good. Varieties from all over the world : Germany, Greece, Japanese, Chinese, BBQ. I would recomend the «Craft Stone BBQ». A hot dolomite stone comes in front of you with a platter of different kinds of raw meat. You cook it according to your taste and accompany it with the sauces and french fries that are given as a side dish!

Large place with plenty of opportunity to eat. 5 chilling tanks take pride of place towards the rear of the bar. I thought the beer was fresh and the service was good enough but I wouldn’t say it was the beer Mecca for Athens. Opened in 1997, the place may have lost some of its enthusiasm for beer. If you done with the Parthenon and the Acropolis then this isn’t a bad place to go and have a quite all. PS: The other place in Athens to pick up a few rates is the Central Market. Some of the sideline market stores have a wide selection of Polish and Russian beers.

American style brewpub with two locations in greater Athens. Many beers in varying styles, all well made. Recommended!

I was there during the Olympic games. Located near FC Panathinaikos stadium, just few metro stations from the center. There is place for lots of people because there are basement, first and second floor and terrace appropriate for sitting and drinking.
