The food is great! The beer is ok, not the best. Kind of bland. The Ehu is the best beer for sure. The others, well........

Warehousey feel, with a boat inside for decoration. Beer is average. Food is average and expensive. Service was OK. The pork BBQ sandwich was the best thing we had. Meh.

Location stinks - near Hilo Hattie’s main store with a nice view of Nimitz Highway and warehouses. Service was decent. Food nothing special but decent seafood selection. Beers though are well made and quite enjoyable - worth a stop at least to try the beers.

Not too much variety. Microbrews were predictable. Service was lousy, food came slowly, and the live band played hits that were popular maybe 20 years ago. Not a place for a young guy like me.

Wow Sam Choy’s Big Aloha was not what I thought it was going to be. No recommendations about this place and it turned out to be very cool, nice easy warehouse atmosphere with huge and great food. The beers some great, some good, and some not so good. Just like anywhere else. The servers once seeing I was rating took extra care to give me more knowledge of the beers and such. A great place but beware they only have night time valet parking. So send the family to Hilo Hattie’s park there walk 100 yards and go drinking.

In the warehouse district. Valet parking only. 7 beers on tap including a Barley Wine! Beers average to below average. Food OK, but slightly over priced. There early on a Friday (5:30) - service got worse as they got busier. Had to ask for rolls 3 times.

I liked this place, less hectic than on Waikiki Beach. It is in the warehouse district so don’t expect anything fancy. 7 beers to select from at this micro, skip the cream ale it tastes like Bud. Try the Porter though, very good. Food was pretty good, fish was fresh (should be), ribs were very tasty, and prime rib was awesome. Desserts were good as well, I had another beer.

Restaurant/brewery. Pretty decent beers with a sampler tray available. The food I had was excellent. A shrimp salad sandwich. Gets pretty busy at dinner time so go early.

I liked the beer here better than any where else that I tried in Honolulu. It was average, and I guess that tells you what I thought of the rest. Ales(stout, porter, esb etc. Did get to try the food but it looked pretty good too.
