| Jeppe (85), Ølbutikken, Denmark | | August 8, 2006 Me asking the waiter about an American microbrewery beer I hadn’t heard of before from the menu: "What kind of beer is it?". The waiter: "It’s a bottled beer!" Me: "No, I mean what kind of beer - dark, light?". Waiter: "It’s a normal yellow beer"........(service: 1). The list though was quite good, their own (4 different) on tap plus some others. Bottle list of about 50 with mostly Belgians, US micros and English beers. Quite touristy, but when the weather is good the outside patio is nice. The only place (plus the other 2 branches) to go for good beer in Hong Kong! | | omhper (93), Stockholm, Sweden | | July 2, 2006 The more spacious of the East End Brewery location. A strange oasis amongst the packed streets and high rise buidings offering American microbrews, Belgian and English bottled beers and the house brews from the Hong Kong Brewery. Service is better at the Quarry Bay location, |
