Tourist trap, bad infected beers. This is more a cakehouse than a beerbar !!!

There is nothing charming here, the service is slow, the beers are nothing special and they are not brewed here.

Expensive tourist trap. More a restaurant and cake shop than brewpub. Usual pale beer with unusual high price. Half liter costs 990HUF (about 4.5€) + 15% service fee. I was there in the evening when wasn’t really warm, so the guests that were cold could ask for and get blankets.

Lousy beer brewed by Ilzer. Go here for their cakes only - they are pretty tasty.

Not brewing and I don’t think it ever has. I was told the plant was "decoration" and the beer is from Itzer in Monor and is reported to be average at best – and around 700HUF a half-litre! Just don’t bother.

Their beer is terrible and WAY overpriced; that’s what my "selection" score refers to. On the other hand, their pastries are delicious, if expensive. Didn’t spend much time inside, but if you can find a table outside, the cafe borders a nice square. Definitely an expensive tourist trap, and I’d look for something else whether you’re searching for a pub or a cafe.

Hmmm, not the best brewpub (if you can call it that, as it’s more of a restaurant/cum grand cafe) I’ve ever been to - very pricey and the beer was only average. A very impressive setting undoubtedly, but this is an expensive tourist trap, unpopulated by the locals.

Posh combined fine bakery and beer hall in the middle of the most touristic part of Budapest (Vaci út). If you go downstairs into the cellar pub the waiters are much more interested in talking beer with you. The beers themselves are solid and flawless, some of the best I’ve found in Hungary.

SUCKS. One beer on tap that is approximately 5 times the price of regular beer in Budapest. Even more expensive than in Canada or the US. Full of middle age tourists with a print out on the bill reminding you that the bill does not include tip. Aviod is my suggestion. Stick to cheap palatable Reislings while in Hungary, you’ll fair much better
